Maybe you can explain...
If, as you say, offshore outsourcing is so 'dumb' and you are so smart -- then how come offshore outsourcing has been done for the past 30 years and companies doing are still making BILLIONS of dollars and getting all kinds of new business?

Your logic makes no sense whatsoever. NO business ANYWHERE could survive for over 30 years producing nothing but crap.

This 'low quality' bull$hit rant comes mostly from American programmers trying to justify their high salaries.

How about some facts instead of emotional rant?

1. India recognized more than 20 years ago that this was a huge and growing market -- so they invested in the educational system.

2. Indian students spend more time studying than partying. They treat their studies seriously as they know they have families to help support and need to make something of themselves.

3. Indians have not only adopted 'quality' programs -- they've become the ICONS for ISO and CMM certifications. India holds WAY MORE CMM level 5 (and lower) certifications than the USA on any measure.

4. India has over 30,000 languages and dialects -- but the ONE COMMON LANGUAGE happens to be ENGLISH -- and while they may have accents, their English skills technically are far above most Americans.

I've worked with plenty of Indians, Russians, Pakistanis, Chinese and people of other nationalities but the one thing that seems clear is that they are quite capable of providing just as high quality services as any American.

If they couldn't -- they'd have been out of business 30 years ago.
