make Yahoo more appealing to MS. Just because it's Open will in no way deter MS. They still want the company and if Icahn wins it will be theirs.
The fact that Yahoo is open source is one thing that has intrigued MS. MS has nothing against open source if it will make them money. The only reason they don't like it is as a threat to their bottom line.
