Old-fashioned way
Oh, heck, consider the old-fashioned way. Years ago a Japanese father got caught dressing up as a girl to take his daughter's exams that are used to determine which high school the child can enter. Of course, the best universities basically only take students from the top high schools.

Regarding jamming, a bunch of reporters in Mexico City gradually noticed that none of their cell phones worked in a particular Roman Catholic cathedral. They checked and the church had installed jamming equipment. But such equipment is illegal in the U.S. except for certain government agencies.
