Truth, IT and Internet managers think

their business is in someway "special" and not subject to the terms of other well ran companies.

As a consultant with a solid business background/history I see it on an almost daily basis. The rules for a solid business (profitable) are NOT different just because its the internet or IT. Regardless of how so many seem to think they are.
