because the US, under all those old-school management types, did very well in the world economy.

Only recently, with the advent of the internet-styled 'business model' (and the bubble burst), did we begin the downward spiral.

The best companies are managed extremely well by old-school management. I don't mean rigid anti-innovation whip-crackers, but those with both experience AND vision. Business practices have to adjust to new tech, but a product is a product.

It's not a point where we have to scrap the old and start over, but we need to teach the younger managers the old ways, and allow them to adjust into the new models.

Icahn's a pirate, but his point that Yang is way out of his league is correct.
