This seems like another area (Laptops) that somebody HAS to try and fix. I am skeptical about ATI's video cards. When a 320 shader card gets whipped by one with 112 then something isn't working.

Ditching Atheros is needed. Good thinking.

Going to AMD-ATI now to see what I can find out more.
