A Different Kind of Authority
People may ask why the opinion of the Prince of Wales is worth more than an ordinary mortal's.
Or why his son the second-in-line to the throne is entitled to commandeer elements of the nation's defence force in order to impress his girlfriend.
The answer is that the Royals are intrinsically *different* to everyone else, a wholly different category of being. The same laws, moral or judicial, do not apply to them as to the rest of us.
By the same token, there need be no moral difficulties surrounding their Bloody Murder When the Revolution Comes.
