Psystar's Open Computer? It's Worth It! No Updates? ..mwaa ha ha

Has Larry Dignan sunk to tabloid journalistic tactics? Has he turned the other cheek to accept a Jobs Apple Payola bribe to spread lies? ..or is he just like the majority of average Joe Mac-ettes simply too tech illiterate and ignorant to ignore Psystar's own Web Pages? Ladies and Gentlemen, Psystar's machines most definitely up-datable:

Besides, 1000's if not millions of Windows Users around the Globe do just fine without so much as security update while being properly firewalled and protected against viruses. That Microsoft is required to make available to even to Pirates of their OS. People have become addicted to UPDATING as if it was some kind of Do or Die proposition akin to crack. That will kill every last non-updated Computer in existence. It's simply not going to happen!

During the Mac Cloning of the last Century, I bought a Mac Clone that lay waste to every WinPC or Mac on the market. It was PowerTower Pro G3 275 in '96. It not only was faster than any Mac out, it had hardware options and capabilities that disgraced any Winblows Box of the day!

Power Computing was stealing sales away from Apple even after Power Computing was taken over by Apple. What do you do when your competition is turning out better products than you? You Buy them and then kill them!

Or in this case (with Psystar) you first try to sue them out of business. That's how you do it if a company like Apple or Microsoft are threatened by one of these mom n pop operations. First sue them and then if that fails you buy them!

I would hardly call a fancy BSD OS on overpriced Apple hardware the greatest system anyway. Without 3rd party support from companies like Adobe, Khronos Group and Google! Plus they'll all be using OpenGL within 5 years anyway!

DirectX will be just an also ran API and won't exist on Mobiles where Android and some other forms of Linux will own the market with OpenGL ES and Khronos Group other assorted products!

The Apple Lawsuit against Psystar will bring to an end any supposed dominance of that fake BSD OS! ...Apple will lose!

I have a Psystar machine dual booting Mac OS-X Leopard and Windows XP. I rarely boot to Windows and Leopard has been running great as I only use it off line. Instead I use Linux and Windows in VMWare through a walled hypertunnel on the web. Zero problems (especially when using a TOR client)!
