Gains come at a loss: ditching Apple
On Monday I discovered that a second, large school we deal with is ditching Apple in favor of a Dell/Windows combination, to escape the lock-in that Apple products tend to favor.

Yes, people truly do have a selection these days, and with additional features added to Windows all the time, many schools that habitually have gone with Apple no longer observe the need to continue with limiting themselves to one vendor

If anything Apple will continue to force Microsoft to create a superior product to maintain the lead in the area of operating systems.
