Time to short Shell
These moves are almost always an admission that
executive management is clueless about all things IT, and
now is looking for someone else to pin the blame on.
They're doubtless clueless about most other things, as
well, and when all the competent IT staff have left and the
help desks are now all in Mumbai, Manila, or Moscow, they
will probably have already gotten their golden parachutes,
and so won't care a whit about the end results. Good thing
I don't have a Shell credit card, as I imagine no billing
irregularities will ever be resolved again.
