In the long run, Live services...
will not make the big splash everyone is hoping for. Individual consumers may find it useful but Enterprises will move the services back in house. Especially with Open Source providing more and better services that can be self hosted and they are free.

Paying someone else to host these services will eventually prove more costly and less efficient than hosting them in house. Externally hosted dervices is just a flash in the pan. Trusting your IT future to a third party will end up being the death knell for those who aren't ready, willing, and able to take full control of their services and data.
