Google News gets local (but not that local)

Correction to article

Hey, I'm a software engineer at Google and just wanted to correct a misunderstanding in your article. Judging from the picture, you did a search for Philadelphia instead of seeing the local news for Philadelphia. You did something like
http://news.google.com/nwshp?q=philadelphia
while the Local News feature is at the url
http://news.google.com/nwshp?geo=philadelphia
(Note that you need to use "geo" instead of "q" in the url.

The other way to get the local news is to go to http://news.google.com and click on the link that says "Edit this personalized page" on the right-hand side of the page. Then click "Add a local section" and just type a zip code or city name.
