In the firstif I recall correctly Barnes is a Teradata reject from years ago and his comments are interesting but not very fascinating. Barnes ask Mark what that means. I would think Teradata would not want to be bought by HP when HP cant get it's own product working. It is relevant if Hp was winning deals against Teradata instead of pressuring customers to say they are looking at Neoview just because those customers are big HP printer users and want to maintain good working relationships to continue the big printer and PC discounts.
Hurd knows Neoview will never scale like Teradata and he knows the best people who know about business intelligence and data warehousing are at Teradata.
