It may be designed for children but I guess it can be pretty useful for adults too - in certain situations. Kiddie size may be an issue but I don't think it's far away from the subnotebooks of the Windows CE era, remember'em anyone? If your only task is to write some notes or a poem in a remote area where you have to deal with dust, dirt and water, the OLPC child-resistant factor becomes a very valuable assets. It's much cheaper than Toughbooks and other ruggedized laptops.
