All this work on a deprecated OS?
I thought Vista was the future? Active development to port XP, let's face it, a stable but very outdated OS onto the OLPC. At some point, MS will have to accept the fact that even with free education software, business partners salivating at billions in side sales, etc, even the most newbie of technology folks will not want to put their eggs into an OS that has no future.

MS, dedicate some serious resources to making Vista, some flavor, somehow, lean, mean, capable and robust, otherwise, this, and this alone will be your biggest obstacle.
