- Not a fan of TD Ameritrade!
- I hadn't been a customer of TD Ameritrade in over 5 years, but last week I get notified that my data may have "leaked". They claimed that they conducted an investigation that showed this leaked data had not been used for identity theft and then suggested that I monitor my credit reports for suspicious activity. Gee, THANKS FOR NOTHING. They kept my data for YEARS after I quit them, let it get compromised, and then TELL ME TO WATCH MY CREDIT REPORTS. When some of my wife's data was "leaked" last year (IIRC, by Wells Fargo), they set her up with a free year of credit monitoring/fraud watch service as a token gesture. We still weren't happy about the situation, but that spoon full of sugar did help the medicine go down. Ameritrade needs some fines and oversight!!
