- Well for Amazon...
- They can see the value add of improving their IT Infrastructure, since they are an online business. However most companies see IT and it's infrastructure as a cost center, even if they provide a place for customers to buy their products, they routinely wont spend any money on things that keep the e-commerce site up and running reliably .
