Anyone surprised?
ATI/AMD screwing over *NIX users, its good to see just deserts happening to them - maybe one day they'll realise not to piss of those of use who make decisions and influence others. We maybe small in number but our influence is something that AMD/ATI should realise exists.

I would have bought a AMD based laptop, but given the fact that they don't want me as a customer by virtue of failing to provide a driver for Solaris x86, I decided instead to purchase on loaded with an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU, all which are nicely supported out of the box with Solaris Express.
