Umm..... No.
It's about the medium - transport medium. ATT is still stuck with copper. They haven't and aren't doing anything with fiber. This whole thing isn't just about broadband. It's about overall service potential. Copper just can't cut it. If Verizon capitalizes on this (which I'm sure they'll try to do), ATT is in some really serious trouble in this market.
