I'm surprised that you didn't cover an extremely important technical fact about the FIOS vs. Cable differences. In order to use FIOS you need a set top box at each TV - and if you don't none of the TV's will work. In my home, I have a small wall mounted TV in the kitchen with no room for a set top box. I also have a guest bedroom where I don't want a set top box. With Comcast cable, I can configure each of my 4 rooms for TV with a different connection - 2 with set top boxes and 2 without.

I'm also interested in the delivered bandwidth inside the home. If FIOS uses the cable coax to go from outside to inside the home, isn't that the same bandwidth that cable provides - even though the fiber optics come from different outside locations?
