I wonder if...
in the cross licensing deal between MS and Novell was there mention of only applying to GPLv2? Since GPLv3 is new, NOT finalized until after the deal was made, and is treated as new and seperate then Microsoft is off the hook. When the deal was made, It was under GPLv2 rules and guidelines. For GPLv3 to be effective, MS and Novell would need to come up with a new cross license that would encompass GPLv3. So for all of you ABmer's... Sorry to burst your bubbles.
