TTech going the way of pharmaceuticals
The big technology companies are following the path blazed by the drug companies. Make America pay the cost of R&D through premium pricing for pharmaceuticals and technology.

Then make Americans subsidize the costs of exporting our technology to the rest of the world through higher taxes. What you didn?t think these tech companies were selling at a loss overseas and not taking the tax write off did you?

Frankly I don?t care whether India or China use Wintel or AMD/Linux, whether they have the latest AIDS cocktail or first world immunology. What I do care about is underwriting their technological advancement with higher prices and higher taxes.

If Intel, AMD or Microsoft think the overseas market is worth pursuing, then good for them but they should do it without being underwritten by American consumers or American taxpayers.
