I am not surprised
Yahoo needs to keep up with any Google strategic positioning, and Google's recent proposed purchase of DoubleClick is no exception. Since Right Media's technology has been tested in the market, it may turn out that Yahoo's decision is a more strategic and certainly cost-effective counter to Google. The only issue here is that Yahoo is a publisher so it is left to be seen if other publishers react kindly to this move.
