- perhaps what he's thinking is...
- ...that a global brain is emerging that incorporates us as nodes along with software and data gathering capabilities, the eventual form and function of which is impossible to predict any more than you could predict a human brain by understanding the way the first nerve cells worked. We can and are leveraging the evolving capabilities whenever we google a topic and interact with farflung experts.
