Garmin i2 rocks, all for $200!
Ever check out the Garmin i2? I've used this handy, self-contained GPS unit for months now and wouldn't spend a dime on any more expensive GPS units for my car. I only paid $200 and I've seen it on sale for $189 from Walmart.com.

What else could you want? Search by address, recent locations, Points of Interest (restaurants, gas stations, airports, and I even used it to locate Bart train stations!).

Yes, so it's greyscale and doesn't have a keyboard. But why pay $100 more for the color model (the Garmin i3) and the scroll works surprisingly well (a-la Blackberry's scroll wheel style) with the character completion functionality.

Everyone who has been in my car has loved the unit and even more tickled pink at the $200 price point! It takes 2 AA batteries for hiking or walking trips, and includes a car power adapter to plug in to your lighter. I can't say enough about this thing - great work, Garmin!! You've hit the right price point with the i2, with all the functionality I need to get around without having to Mapquest every time I go out!
