The Singularity Debate
It is fascinating to consider the ramifications of greater then human level processing. In thinking about the place a human being will hold in a world of virtual reality one very disturbing question arises.
How can we maintain our core individuality when the distance between our neurons is not much greater then the distance between our individual minds?
I think we tend to forget that with more interconnected computers comes more interconnected people. Are we really ready to work together?
