Great job! Watch out for mono input jacks: Great job, David! I hope this helps others.

One thing: Some laptops (like my Toshiba tablet) have MONO microphone jacks, not stereo, even though their headphone jacks are stereo. This means that you can't do two channel recording without something else like using a USB sound input (there are external analog to digital converters available).
