- Don't build with wire!

Please -- don't advise people to put wire in the walls on building a new house. Conduit is the only long-term way to go, and it's dirt cheap.
My 23-year-old house was prewired for networking, but it wasn't rigged with conduit. Needless to say, it wasn't CAT6 wiring. Now that I'm upgrading to CAT6, the old stuff is still there and I'm having to pull out the CAT5 that I laboriously rigged in addition. - Posted by: Yagotta B.
