Cisco to consume Nokia?

There's a saying down here in Mexico

"When the river sounds, is because there's water". This usually means that there may be something heading towards that direction. The same as with Apple and Intel, where both companies would not comment on the fact that both their executives had approached in private talks, which ended up being Apple is moving to an Intel base (x86 to be more precise). Many disregarded the reported news and rumors claiming that Apple would never do that, and in the end it did...

It will certainly be interesting to see how does this develops in the coming weeks as I'm pretty sure, if not a megamerger is underway, this could be the head start of a key alliance between Cisco and Nokia (to the very least). Only time will tell, but I'm pretty sure the cards are already on the table of each boards.
