Adding Java to PalmOS is building on sand
PalmSource made the right decision when it switched to Linux. Java will run very nicely on Linux, without any effort on PalmSource's part. I don't know what language they are using for the Palm rewrite (Palm-on-Linux), but it might well be Java.
