bit rates
Check the preferences for the import part. Look at which type of
sound file you want to use (AIFF, mp3, WAV, AAC, Apple
Lossless) and then choose custom for the bitrate. You can go up
to 320 on some of the types or 48 kHz for WAV (CD are at 44
kHz)
