Exactly -- I had Sony Pentium 200Mhz system that had one of the early all-in-wonder cards in it, I hooked the computer up between the cable box and the TV and as recording video long before the 2000 filing date.

If memory serves the All-in-wonder was released sometime in 1996 and that definately pre-dates most of the dates mentioned in the article.
