The only difference is "digital"
This is the same thing as a VCR, except it is a digital format. This will probably fall under the protection of the DMCA, let's hope it doesn't stand up in court. It should also fall under the "betamax" decision and should be perfectly legal, so we'll see how these 2 conflicting areas stand up. I personally side with the DVR makers, especially since I just ordered my DVR.
