HP seeks larger role in iPod mania

Its a fad until: Toyota announces support for it. Scion is supposed to be first
because of its youth culture. When you can carry your entire
music collection in your car (as you already can with BMW, Mini,
Volvo, Jaguar and Benz) then it will be game over for all other
players. We are seeing a total shift in car entertainment here.
Sony tried an idiotic $900+ car deck that ripped CD's to an
internal hard drive. But for much less (how much less depends
on the size of your music collection) you can have your
collection in the car, dock it with a stereo or home computer,
install it in a boom box dock (there is even an iPod boombox/
