I have *ALL* my music with me *ALL* of the time

You're missing the real point of the iPod: With
it, I have *ALL* of my music with me *ALL* of
the time.

With CDs, this would be impossible; my collection
occupies a 6 foot width of 6-foot tall bookcases,
but it all fits on one teeny little iPod. And my
iPod plays exactly the music I want to hear when
I want to hear it, no matter what I want to hear.

Oh, and it does it within about 30 seconds, less
time than it takes me to get a CD and load it
into the player, even if I'm near the CD
collection. Only iTunes is faster.

The iPod also isn't afraid to play antiwar music
(remember that pre-Bush genre?) or folk music nor
does it play the suitable-for-sale-at-WalMart and
acceptable to Bush FCC lackies Bowdlerized versions
of songs; it plays the high-octane versions.

The iPod may not have made a lot of sense at 5GB;
I didn't buy-in at that point. But now, at 40/60GB,
it's a whole new way to interact with my music.
