Where hydrogen comes from
Just about anywere! The ocean for one h2o two parts hydrogen one part oxegen.

Hydrogen is the most abundent form of matter in the universe even more so than helium which is second. Jupiter itself is mostly hydrogen and it is hydrogen which powers stars. Our sun has run for 5 billion years on it's stores of hydrogen and will run for almost another 5 billion years on it's remaining stores before it starts to fuse helium which was made by hydrogen atoms that fused together during it hydrogen phase.

Everything around you was made from hydrogen fusion in stars all the heavier elements were made from hydrogen and helium which was ultimatly itself made from fused hydrogen in stars and from the big bang.

So where would we get all that hydrogen well it's all over the universe and our planet in one form or another.
