They all have duplicate revenue streams.

Subscribers to Newspapers all see ads in the paper. When was the last time you looked at the price of pantyhose in the newspaper? Bet those ads came in handy then...

Same with your Boys Life subcription. Not only does your mom pay for that each year, but you get the pleasure of ordering magic growing rocks from the ads inside.
