Agreed. I don't get it. Everybody wants something for nothing. Why don't some of you loud mouth complainers try negotiating with the broadcast companies. This isn't a matter of TiVo trying to make money, it's a matter of trying to keep this as a profitable business the broadcasting industry is going to embrace.

Some of you are SO infantile in your thinking. You figure TiVo can just come up with some software to do all this and screw the world. Life's not that easy. There's a business to run and a cooperating industry to keep happy.

If you got a beef with anyone, it's going to have to be with the TV producers who forced TiVo's hand.

This is part of the deal that sealed the Comcast partnership. Without that, Comcast would have done something internally or with another company. Then where would your TiVo be?

Stop the whinning and look at an ad or two while you enjoy everything that IS cool about TiVo. Sheeesh!
