The original Tivo was great. They must have fired everyone who worked on it, because for the past five years Tivo hasn't produced *anything* that a consumer would want.
The *could* have innovated by putting in a CD-RW drive and allowing you to save programs to SVCD. They could have put in a DVD burner years ago.
Instead, they've put all their efforts into producing *Ta-ta-ta-Dum* POP UP ADS !!1@#!!
The entire world wide web is installing pop up blockers, and TIVO thinks this is a great idea.
