- Come on Roger..I've been in thisbusiness from virtually
-
the begining. I remember the exciting days of everyone trying
to be different and new. Tandy, Adam, Osborne, Digital
Rainbow, Apple, Commodore etc..etc. Those years were fun,
exciting and interesting. Then the standardization of the PC and
MS's OS came into being and it all pretty much dried up and
without Apple in the game these past years would have been
well DULL to say the least!!! Imagine the past 15 years without
an Apple? The reason I'm an Apple fan is many. It's easy,
reliable, secure and well FUN!!! Who's designs and concepts
would Dell have copied over the years? Without Apple would MS
have gone from Dos to Windows as soon as she did, or push the
envelope from 3.1 to 95 as fast? Might you be running Dos
2005 today? Who knows.....however I am fairly certain that little
old Apple has kept things far more interesting than they might
otherwise have been and for that at least everyone should be
somewhat greatful. Still I will admit that some of the fanatical
aspects on all sides get to be a bit much at times.
