Cell phones are a joke.
The reason they add features is to distract you from the fact that voice quality and range are features they cannot deliver to you.

I expect to dial my cell phone from the north pole and get a response from someone submerged 500' in a submarine somewhere in the Pacific.

Ok I'll compromise, how about no dropped calls anywhere in the country in motion with no underwater sound effects.
