Easier to develop?

So it would ONLY take 2 years of development with these tools as opposed to 3 with other ones? Is that easier? Games today are Soooo complicated that I doubt simply changing the development tools will make much of a dent in the timing. M$ lives by selling development tools that, in turn lock you into the Windoze platform - since the tools are NEVER cross-platform. Frontpage locks you into creating IE-only web sites - and these tools will lock you into creating Xbox-only games.
