You are right Fred Fredrickson. Apple has USB in every machine and pays the royalty fee. Intel should throw away its pride and have a firewire port standard on every chipset. Ofcourse Apples have been using more and more PC components in their chipsets. I think it is fine they have a different 'breed' going. They could do something AMAZING and Intel could never do if Apple starts using the CELL chip being developed for the next Sony PlayStation. Then Apple would have their own special place away from, and better than Intel for sure .
