Apple did a fair bit of re-engineering of the Xerox interface, for example, the one-button mouse, click-drag-release, etc. When I hear complaints about too few buttons, I am remonded that, before that time, we had all those keys on the keyboard, and they are still there, if you miss lots of buttons!
