Huh?
You're correct that Apple created Firewire but wasn't involved in the creation of USB. It was jointly developed by Compaq, IBM, DEC, Intel, Microsoft, NEC, and Northern Telecom. But I think you're very mistaken about Apple popularizing USB. I believe Mac's didn't have a USB port until well after they were standard on Wintel machines.
