This is california after all, not to say that they have a monopoly on stupidity, but they usually lead the way.

My opinion is the lawsuit particpants are guilty of not being able to pay attention long enough to figure out how to use Dell's website.

You are so right, and that is the trend these days, it's always "someone elses fault", like Dell "made them" click on the more expensive version. What kind of idiot can't read the part of the add or website that says "monitor not included", or "as shown"? Sure it is in small print, but it has been that way with nearly all products for quite some time. They are called "disclaimers" people, read them!

Common sense is not a common thing.

Yes, that's why I call it "rare sense", there is no longer anything "common" about it.

And as far as any "bait and switch" scenario, this game has been played for a long time, there are ALWAYS fewer of the cheaper models, and they won't fill everyones needs. Many companies have done this, nothing illegal and as always the buyer should remember BUYER BEWARE!
