So I'd say that's an emphasis on storage. And I'll take Apple's word over ZDNet's.

It's certainly "massive" compared to the 128M memory stick in my digital camera. And it's as big or bigger than the hard drives that came with my TiBook and G4 iMac.

It's a dessert topping AND a floor wax (sorry for the semi-obscure reference). It is a multimedia player. It is also a portable bootable firewire hard drive. It's both things at once.
