Jack of all trades - Master of none but
I thought about buying I-pod photo recently and ended up buying a Zen Touch after I found out I-pod's signal-to-noise ratio is only 89db compared to 98db for the Zen. The I-pod photo is a cool unit though and I almost bought it because of it's features and funtionality. I read alot of online comparisons and besides sound quality - in which my Zen rates highest - the I-pod is overall the highest rated model and for good reason. I think Apple should ramp up the player's sound quality and perhaps add an integrated FM tuner or even - those add on's are cool if not a tad cumbersome - because their competition is doing those things. I have used my Zen as a hard drive often - and I recently got a new Nikon digital camera. It would have been cool to have a way to dump my photos into it while I'm on the go to free up flash card for more photo lovin' - besides who doesn't want more features?
