I work for a living Vily
Used PCs since the DOS days and am now totally Macs at work &
home.

Your total concern with speed does not leave room for
dependability - and this is where my Mac blows the PCs away.
After two major problems with data corruption on Dells I've
found that speed is the least important factor when your
business depends on reliability. As a side note, even Windows is
more stable on my Mac under VPC than it ever was on the Dells
or the ThinkPad.

As for the base RAM configuration, it will take care of a lot of
basic users very well, especially since it is not shared RAM -
there is no need for them to spend more money on RAM
upgrades. A bump in RAM is easily handled with 3rd party RAM
at the same cost PC users pay, and users are allowed to install
their own RAM.

You missed the boat again, but that's no surprise.
