I also don't see how you are being persecuted today?

In the US, a country started largly by people who were christians in one form or another, God and our beliefs and customs are ingrained into our laws and our government to a large degree. Fairly recently different groups, mostly atheist and agnostics, have done nothing but try to have all of these parts of our country removed, ignored and down right blasted into oblivion. And they will lie, cheat and steal to get God out of society (isn't that the very core of persecution?) Look at the moron who claimed his daughter was being harmed by "...one nation under God...". When the truth came out, the daughter had no problem with it, neither did her mom, and this bozo didn't even have authority to bring the suit to begin with, now he's back again!??!

You yourself want to use the ultimate insult and try to turn God into some type of non-offensive meaningless figure head acceptable to all (false idol?). While you (and others) are at it you have actually come to hate christians, and persecution doesn't have to include crusifiction or physical harm (although it often does). It comes in the form of verbal abuse, discrimination, and forcing indecent and perverse behaviour onto us in our everyday lives.

You claim that if we don't like TV or radio or magazines or whorehouses next door or abhorent behaviour in society that we should just "not watch". Where is it that we have left to look if you had your way? What if I said the same thing to you? Don't like the christians where you live? Then MOVE! That is no more rediculous than wht you want christians to do.

No, I have to say that all the evidence points to a double standard in society today. One standard that non-christians can do as they please, hiding behind vague misconceptions, while christians should just shut up and go along with the pagans.

How can you honestly say that there is no persecution of christians, ESPECIALLY when you are participating. However, I know we have been through this before and we are at an impass. I just ask you to look a little closer at what you're saying and realize that you (and others) are indeed asking for a double standard.
